Is it because we get breaking news within seconds? Nah. Maybe it's because we can socialize with others from around the world? Nah not even.
The true reason we love twitter is because we can get useless forms of entertainment through different memes/video at the click of a button. After all, 90% of us just go on social media when we're bored.
For example, this past week, Randy Orton vines of take-downs dominated the twittersphere. And yes, these glorious videos of RKO's also took place in the world of football (not even Sepp Blatter was safe), and it was definitely the highlight of the week.
Just watch these videos and tell me you're not entertained.
