Footy Focus #BootGame: Top Boots To Watch For In February

1. Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 02M

The Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 02M boot comes with the same colorway as the famous Mercurial Vapor I Ronaldo wore in the 2002 World Cup final. The Mercurial Vapor IX 2002 boot is primarily silver with a black Nike Swoosh and 02M lettering, while the Nike branding on the inner side of the boot will be garish yellow.

2. Puma evoSPEED 1.2

The new evoSPEED 1.2 boot comes with a white/orange/navy colorway. The upper of the Puma evoSPEED 1.2 Boot is made from a soft and light microfiber upper and features also the Puma Griptex technology, a transparent 3d print.

The Puma evoSPEED 1.2 Boot is worn by Radamel Falcao, Samuel Eto'o, Sergio Agüero, Santi Cazorla and Oliver Giroud. It's not expected that any of those players will switch to this colorway.

3. Puma evoPOWER 1

The PUMA evoPOWER replaced the retired PowerCat series in January as the brand reshaped their power silo. After an extended tease phase that included the evoPOWER Stampa and Camo designs and a launch event in Barcelona, PUMA now releases both blue/white/peach and blackout colorways.

So far a host of PUMA professionals have decided to lace up the new boot. Predictably most PowerCat wearers have made the switch, as well as PUMA's newest signing Mario Balotelli. But even Manchester City midfielder and previous PUMA king wearer Yaya Toure has been wearing the evoPOWER, scoring from the spot in them against Tottenham on Wednesday evening.
