Boots Of The Match: Neymar Leads Brasil To Opening Day Win

The wait is over as the 2014 FIFA World Cup is fully underway (Thank you BasedGod). We kick-off this World Cup edition of #BootsOfTheMatch with the Opener between host country Brasil and Croatia. After a shaky start from Brasil, Neymar was able to drop a deuce (as in score 2 goals for you dirty minds) and lead his country to an opening day victory. Laced up in the Hypervenoms, Nike is celebrating up in their HQ that their lead man seems as if he'll do a repeat of the Confederations Cup last year. Hopefully this turns into a goal scoring war between Messi (adidas) vs Neymar (Nike), because that'll be too dope.

ADIDAS ADIZERO F50 MESSI BATTLE PACK DETAILED IMAGES

Launched alongside the full adidas 'Battle pack' Leo's new boots are in tune with the packs Black, white and gold colourway but also has an additional blue on the upper representing Messi's home nation of Argentina. The boots also feature a different geometrical pattern to the standard adizero F50 as well as the official Messi logo replacing the number 14 at the back. 

Spread across all four of adidas' silo's, the adidas 'Battle pack' pack will by worn by all of adidas' contracted athlete's during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.  Each boot is exactly 50% white and 50% black and the fiery gold colour of the three stripes represents the FIFA World Cup trophy.

For the 2014 World Cup, Adidas designed a unique Nitrocharge Boot, which features the main colors white / black with neon orange Adidas stripes. On the upper appears a special Nitrocharge pattern. The Adidas Nitrocharge 2014 World Cup Boot features a triangle black / white pattern. As the Adidas Nitrocharge Boot is designed for the The Engine, who often gets involved in tackles, the boot comes with several strong materials to protect the foot. For the first time, the Energylising part, which runs across the midfoot, is not highlighted with an own color but is transparent. On the heel, the boot comes with the lettering nitrocharge 1.0 and the number 14 for the year of the World Cup. The mainly white outsole features the black Energypulse part.

ADIDAS ADIZERO F50 BATTLE PACK DETAILED IMAGES

The new Adidas Adizero 2014 World Cup Boot is mainly white with a black triangle design on the upper, while the outsole of the boot is plain white. The three Adidas stripes and the Adidas logo are orange.

The number 14, which indicates the year of the World Cup in Brazil, is placed on the inner heel area. The number 14 is part of every Adidas 2014 World Cup Boot and is another World Cup exclusive element. ADIDAS PREDATOR INSTINCT BATTLE PACK DETAILED IMAGES

Like all other Adidas Battle Pack 2014 World Cup Boots, the new Adidas Predator Instinct 2014 World Cup Boot comes with the main colors white / black. The upper and the outsole feature an outstanding silo specific design. The orange Adidas stripe on the upper are continued on the outsole, which features the same white / black design as the main boot. The Battle Pack design appears also on the inner area of the boot, which also includes the number 14 for the year of the 2014 World Cup. The Adidas Predator Instinct Boot features a semi-transparent outsole with a newly developed passing pad on the upper as well as a 3D upper for better control.
